Assistant Foundation Officer (School Delivery)

The post holder will continue to develop football and related activities within Walsall undertaking the Strategic development objectives of WFCF. The post holder will ensure the continued improvement in standards of service delivery through participation via school links, out of school hour activities, coach education and mentoring, community club development and opportunities for potential progression pathways. They will also be expected to have a knowledge of funding networks and applications. They will support the work organised by all Foundation Officers and Foundation Managers where necessary.

Football & Education Tutor

We are seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic, and positive tutor to work within our Sports department. The successful candidate will be a dedicated professional with the ability to inspire students and be a team player with good interpersonal skills as they will be working alongside our well-structured and supportive staff. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching and supporting individual students and groups of students. The ability to work as part of a team and under your own initiative is important. The successful candidate must be able to show excellent organisational and communication skills with both students and colleagues.

Level 2 Community Activator Coach Standard Apprenticeship

Apprentices will be assisting the planning, preparation and delivery of high quality Football, PE and sport provision to children and young people in an education and community environment. Although the main coaching area will be Football, all candidates must be comfortable with delivering a variety of different sports and developing into a PE Specialist. The apprentice will also have administrative responsibilities.
