Walsall FC Foundation is proud to announce the launch of our Reaching Communities Youth Outreach project made possible thanks to a £489,869 grant from the National Lottery Community Fund.
The three-year project supports children and young people aged 8–18 from low-income and underserved communities across Walsall, combining sport, mentoring, and personal development to help them thrive. Reaching Communities Youth Outreach provides prevention and early intervention support for young people who may be vulnerable or at risk of exclusion. The project includes sports-based interventions, using football and multi-sport activities to offer a safe space where young people can build confidence, develop life skills, and feel part of something bigger.
Delivered by a well-established and trusted local organisation embedded in the community, the programme offers place-based activities alongside informal mentoring, wellbeing support, and volunteering opportunities, helping participants to grow, thrive, and succeed.
